2008. After receiving such an enthusiastic response to their recent concert,
The West Valley Symphony is ready to announce the performance schedule for
a 2008-09 Concert Season. The Symphony will perform four concerts in
the Sun Cities-Surprise area, beginning with the first concert on Sunday,
November 2, 2008.
"We received so many enthusiastic comments following our February concert
at Faith Presbyterian Church in Sun City that we believe that a 2008-09 Season
will be a success” says Cathy Leas, President of the West Valley Symphony
Association. “We have one remaining concert this season on Sunday,
April 13th, at 3 p.m. at the Performing Arts Auditorium at Willow Canyon
High School in Surprise. Our 44 professional musicians are really looking
forward to being back in front of our audience of music lovers on a regular
basis.”
Concerts featuring special programming to be announced later, are being planned
for Nov. 2, 2008, the Holiday concert on Dec. 7, 2008 and two concerts after
the first of the year on Jan. 11 & Mar. 8, 2009. Tickets are $25
for adults and $15 for students/youth. Tickets will be available in
